Vietnam’s manufacturing sector is poised for explosive growth in 2026. Its total import and export volume saw robust year-on-year growth in the first five months, with electronics manufacturing and semiconductors serving as the core engine driving foreign trade. Trade volume with ASEAN nations has surged more than 27 times over 30 years to reach USD 91 billion, and the digital economy boasts the fastest growth rate across the region. Amid the government’s vigorous push for higher local content rates and supply chain self-reliance, Vietnam’s import demand for equipment, materials and smart solutions keeps soaring. Boosting local localization and advancing automation upgrades have become definitive industrial opportunities.
Industrial Technology World Asia •Vietnam 2026 (ITWA@VIETNAM) will grandly take place from August 5 to 7 at VIETNAM EXPOSITION CENTER (VEC), Hanoi. The project team has continued field trips to Vietnam’s frontline market, completing four rounds of in-depth market visits. By rooting ourselves in the local market, listening to genuine industrial demands and matching resources precisely, this round of visits targeted Vietnam’s industrial core, establishing in-depth connections with multiple major buyers, key industry associations and high-potential visitors. We aim to bring substantial industrial resources and genuine procurement demands to the grand August exhibition.
